SEITEC and IWU present “Modulfinger”

On December 5, 2024, the Research Day on Digitalization in Mechanical Engineering took place at the VDMA House in Frankfurt am Main. SEITEC GmbH, together with the Fraunhofer Institute IWU, had the opportunity to present the "Modulfinger" project.

Our solution for data-based condition assessment of machine tools using adaptive fingerprinting met with great interest. We were able to demonstrate how this technology enables precise analysis and evaluation of machine condition and contributes to sustainably improving the efficiency of machine processes – thereby reducing maintenance costs and optimizing production processes.

The event offered a wide range of presentations, pitches, and interactive formats such as the World Café, which promoted dialogue between research and industry. Many thanks to the VDMA for organizing the event and to all participants for the inspiring exchange!
