Data Quality as a Success Factor

As part of the AI Spring 2025, we once again participated with a technical presentation – organized by the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Ilmenau and the AI Hub Saxony-Thuringia. This online lecture series showcases current developments in the application of artificial intelligence in medium-sized industrial companies.

In our presentation, “Turning Data into Information,” we demonstrated through concrete practical examples how targeted data preparation and the use of machine learning algorithms can measurably optimize industrial processes. The steps – from standardized data acquisition and model building to utilization in software-supported expert systems – clearly illustrated the potential that AI-driven solutions already hold today. Connectivity, high data quality, and the ability to enrich data with contextual information were once again identified as key success factors for AI applications.
